A sabbatical is a time to come apart and reflect on one’s life journey and on the big existential questions: Who am I? Where did I come from? What is my destiny? Every culture has an origin story – what they tell the children. Now with the insights of modern science and technology we have a new origin story, one that is universally applicable.

On arrival in the beautiful natural surroundings of Wicklow, you will be facilitated in making the transition to this sabbatical time and place. This will be followed by a concentrated module on cosmology where we will look at different ways that we humans have understood the world.We will study the Now Story using in particular the works of Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme.
