The Dominican Farm

The Farm has been restored and managed since September 1998. In the fully certified organic Vegetable Garden and Vegetable Field many different nutritious vegetables are grown. Chickens enjoy the freedom in their own orchard. A Suckler Beef herd was established in the year 2000 and we have had pigs on the farm since 2002. Our vegetables, eggs, beef, lamb and pork are produced for the Farm Shop, local restaurants and some shops in the area. We also have a Demonstration Garden which is located close to the Ecology Centre.

The Farm Shop

farmshop At our Farm Shop you can select your own produce from our range of fresh Organic Vegetables, Beef, Pork and Fruit as available. We also have Organic Eggs, Jam, Juice and in season Potted Herbs are available. All our Vegetables are harvested and packed on the same day to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional value. During the non-growing season we buy in vegetables from fully certified organic outlets.
A wide variety of organic vegetables, fruit and meat (home-produced beef, pork and lamb) are available in our Farm Shop at very reasonable prices. We also stock a variety of organic whole foods.

Shop Hours: Tuesdays: 2.00 – 5pm, Thursdays: 9.30 - 5.00 p.m. Fridays: 9.30 - 5.00 p.m. Saturdays: 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
